Brake replacing
Hey guys got a question. Im about to swap out my pads and resurface rotors. And i noticed that the rear brake replacement pads have a claw attache to them. Like ones i seen used in a drum brake. I have rotors on all 4 wheels. Is this type still used for rear brakes or should i send bak to get different pads? I have new ebc green 6000 series ones. This is my first time changing these for the truck. Any heads up if this is right?
I just replaced my pads and rotors on the rear. The inner pad does have a 3 legged looking claw on the back that fits inside the piston of the caliper. I had trouble removing my rotors, even with a 4lb sledge beating it. So here is a link on helping with that. The parking brakes are drum style u should be able to just adjust those as needed.

Has anyone replaced the front rotors on a 2wd? Ive heard its a pia. Have heard you have to change the bearing also, or you can change to a 4wd hub o you can replace just the rotor next time.
Any help is great

Its not that hard. If your bearings are good then.all you need to do is buy a seal. Be sure to check the racers also for pitting or scaring. Clean all the old grease out of your old bearings and repack them with new grease. You cant swap to a hub.
