Default Brake problem!

I got an 06 F150 4x4. Just put new pads and rotors on front. Original pads were worn slap out but pedal was firm. Now with new pads it feels like stepping on a plum, pedal slowly seeps down, spongy. I didn't break any brake lines loose so I
dont know what's going on. I've done this a hundred times before on other type vehicles but never had this problem. Can someone help?

Any leaks around the pistons on the caliper?

I had my wife pump and hold the brakes and checked the calipers and the lines for any leaks.
I tried bleeding the calipers, I was able to bleed passenger side, got no air. Couldn't do driver side, bleeder seized to the point of breaking off so I left it. Went and bought a new caliper, haven't put it on yet. It sucks having to buy a caliper just because of a $2 bleeder. But didn't have away of getting it out if it broke.

When you replaced the pads did you resurface the rotors? If not the wear pattern from the old pads isn't flat and the new pads are so they have to wear in. Also the type of pad you used can make difference. Another thing to check is the master cylinder. Remove the cap and have someone pump the pedal, while watching the fluid. The brake fluid level should be rising and falling a small amount. If it appears the fluid is churning the master cylinder is bypassing internally and needs to be replaced.

I replaced the rotors also, they were badly warped. I bought Wearever ceramic pads from Advance auto. Didn't think to check master cylinder, I'll do that next.
