I have a squeak or rubbing sound coming from the brake pedal. It gets worse the harder I push the pedal down. I think it is the rubber boot, but dont see a fix. Has anybody else had an issue and what did you do to fix it.

Where the rod passes through the rubber firewall boot? Try spraying some WD-40 or other anti-squeek spray on the rod that passes through the boot and the pivot point of the rod to pedal.
