Default Brake light on cluster

Long story short, I've been told the cluster on my 05 F150 is shorted out causing the red brake light on my cluster to be on all the time most annoying especailly at night, I have checked everything and had the computer scanned no codes so my question is can i remove the cluster and remove the bulb for the brake light or is it a soldered led in the circuit board?

you sure ...sounds like you have a brake problem...maybe the e-brake hung up...if the cluster was shorted out...i would think it would be more than just your brake light acting up..

Yes I checked everything new brakes all the way around, new brake light switch
and E brake switch, even the one on the master cylinder, even had the computer
Scanned for codes, none were found.
