I have a 2006 f-150. I bought the truck used. About four months after I got it the brake light started coming on intermittently, now it just stays on. I had the fluid reservoir and sensor replaced at the local dealership, under warranty. The fluid level is fine. I am also sure that the parking brake is fully disengaged. Not real sure where else to look. Any ideas? I am tempted to take the cluster out of the dash and take the bulb out of the darn thing, if possible. I also tried to jump out the fluid level switch, didnt make any difference. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Relay for ABS blown/shorting? I know when u take out the relay it turns on....

 

Jump the switch on th e-brake pedal. Just because it isnt activated doesnt mean the switch isnt showing an open, allowing the light to stay on.
