Default brake issue

04 150 heritage, abs, 2 wheel drive, auto, cruise
THE ISSUE:The front passenger side brake does not always release the pressure when you let off of the brake. this causes it to drag and get extremely hot.
I have replaced the front calipers, rotors and pads and the master cylinder but the problem still exists. I have bleed the system down twice to remove any air or contaminants, my thinking is that the ABS part is not releasing the pressure and allowing the fluid to return to the master cylinder. It seems to be a passenger side front issue only and its not every time i hit the brakes but it does happen often.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

I had the same issue. I repaced both front calipers and it seemed to stop dragging for now. I always suspected it was something diff causing this from the get go. Im with you on this one. Any answers would be appreciated.

Might be a collapsed rubber brake line on the passenger side, inspect the rubber lines carefully..

Yea the all mighty $ usually does fix anything. Im gonna bleed my whole system with new fluid. I dont think it'll fix the issue but cant hurt. After that its narrowed down to the ABS, booster, or master cylinder.

I agree with him. Probably a collapsed brake line. Also remember to bleed your whole system when you replace the line. I would also recommend that you use the synthetic grease on the back of your pads, and super grease your slide pins. Also use synthetic brake fluid when you bleed your system. When I upgraded my braking system, I replaced my lines, and was surprised to see how nasty the inside of my lines were.
