Hey everyone I am new to this site. Which is an awesome site by the way. But I have a 2008 king ranch with the tow package and hooked up my brake controller and it still doesnt work. i heard that i might have to hook up a wire in the left taillight. Not to sure. if so or not could any one please give me some suggestions.ty

 

I can't give you specific help on your '08 (I installed a BC in my '09) but I bet that the '08s with the tow package have the factory installed harness for hooking up a controller somewhere in the dash. Do a search on this site for threads with this kind of info; I've seen several discussions about brake controller installations here within the last 3-4 months.
