Default bought a 07 ford needs some work help

i bought a 2007 screw 4x4 with 188,000 miles drives great very clean for $9000

But it does have the dreaded cam phaser noise . so here are my plans

1. Dorman cam phasers
2.Cloyes timing chain
3.Ford vct solenoids
4. Bosch water pump
5.Champion plugs 7989
6.fel pro gaskets

any other things i should consider while i have the truck tore down. what about engine sludge should i run a can of seafoam in the crankcase for a 100 miles or so to clean it.

should i when tore down clean the oil return passages if so any tips.

the truck runs nice when cold but when it gets warm at idle it sounds like it is going to come come apart.

Instead of the champions get the motorcraft sp515 plugs. Make sure you put NICKLE anti seize on them.. You should also get yourself the lisle too for broken plug extraction just incase.

I hear the dorman phasers are hit or miss quality wise.. You may be better off with Factory phasers.
Everything else looks good.. In the run up to the rebuild its not a bad idea to run some seafoam in the gas and some MMO (marvel mystery oil) in the oil..
Get a can of seafoam "deep creep" to spray LIKE a (carb cleaner/brake cleaner) in the passages you can see (tensioner and solenoids valve body). You have to drop the oil pan and remove any and all black plastic and inspect the pickup tube for any blockage...
Hope this helps.
