Default Body Work Cost?? Tailgate Emblem Relocation...

So, you body work guys. Any ideas how much it would cost to do this?

Relocate the tailgate badge, with the recess, to the lower right corner of the tailgate?

Im guessin it would be a pretty penny done by a pro shop they wanted 600-900 bucks just to repaint and undo a couple of dings and paint my spoiler on my truck but i found a smaller body shop to do it for 175 haha it looks great though i feel like i got a deal like i was in mexico

My dad and i just did the reverse on my superduty after we started working on it to fix the paint/clear coat issue i was having, also the truck got damaged while the tailgate was off, my dad has been toying with paint/bodywork for past 30 yrs as a hobby. it was alot of work, around 4-5 days of work, the tailgate skin is very thin!! during the welding process the skin warped very badly even taking his time spot welding, he was able to work the metal and get is straight, after several layers of body filler and lots of sanding (thats where i helped the most) we asked the body man at paint shop where my truck was for ins repairs, we asked him how much - he basically stated he would NEVER attempt it and if he did it would be more than the tailgate would cost new! i will see if i can find the picture of the finished product and i used the factory size emblem not the huge one on the new trucks ( my truck is 2000 F250)

Thanks for the reply!

Now I'm thinking I'll try and find a blank tailgate and go from there.

i know i seriously thought about a newer model tailgate but it was quality time spent with my dad and he had all the tools and expertise to make it happen! plus he works cheap - took him to lunch everyday and he loves spending time working and have me around !!
