Default Body Mount Replacement

Just replaced passenger side front body mount. It's not very difficult. In order to remove the front mount I had to loosen the next body mount under the passengers side floorboard. Just pull up the passenger side front carpet enough to expose the upper bolt head and remove the nut. I didn't need to loosen the lower bolt at all. The front mount is removed by first taking off the top nut (note shim placement), then unscrewing the lower bolt. Once removed, used a jack and 2x4 to jack up the body just in front of the mount. Only jack up enough to remove and replace the upper portion of the mount, then lower. Put in the lower mount & bolt and make sure not to over tighten it. Then put any shims back in and make sure not to over tighten the upper nut while holding the lower bolt in place. Tighten up the other body mount.

Hope this helps someone.
