Default Body damage

Hey guys, so I hit a mailbox... The back flare side panel on my truck has a rip in it.. Not dented like where it hit the door.

My question is.. Where the rip in the body is, can that be repaired to look decent similar to how a dent can be in a door? The material is a little strange.. Fiberglass maybe? Not really sure what it's made out of..

Thanks for reading guys and I appreciate any responses if you are familiar with the body panel material I am referring to. I am going to take it to a shop but I am literally losing sleep over this at the moment

Manuel I'm having trouble with photo bucket right now. Are you familiar with the material I'm talking about?

I think so. I'm pretty sure the outer skins on flaresides are fiberglass. To properly fix it they'll have to take more material out than what has ripped. Basically the hole you see will need twice that area removed or smothed down below factory depth. If somebody knows what they are doing they can get it looking good as new. The real trick will be repainting that side to color match the rest of the truck.

Just to make sure, it looks like little hairs around the edge of the rip right?
