Default Blend door actuator issue or?

hey guys, I'm having a random issue with my a/c on my 06' Lariat 5.4L (200K) with electronic temp control. I've scoured the forum but found no similar issue

While using the a/c, everything is fine and then all of a sudden the temperature gets warm and humid air enters the cabin. No change in desired temp has taken place but I'm at a loss as why it happens all of a sudden. For the most part I keep the Recirc function activated and the temp at 16C.

My a/c functions perfectly with none of the "clicking sounds" when the temp range is gone from full hot to full cold, so I'm unsure of it's cause. It happens completely at random and sometimes I can reset it by shutting the a/c down for 10 minutes while driving and restart it on Auto

additionally the actuator controlling location (ie Floor, defrost, panel) works perfectly.

Any thoughts gents?

Mine is very similar but my compressor actually shuts off. Have you checked to see if the compressor is still running when it gets warm? Mine has almost completely quit working, but when it does it works great! Until the compressor just randomly quits working. I have yet to figure out my problem, I have tried jumping the low pressure switch, replaced the relay, and checked the connection on the compressor. I havent checked the pressure levels yet because it was just filled about 4 motnhs ago and jumping the low pressure switch should have engaged it even with low pressure. I'm leaning towards the compressor itself, the clutch, or the control panel in the dash.

Thanks BadFish, I appreciate the help.

I never thought of the compressor conking out when it gets warm. I'll check that today when I head out.

Would this still cause the sudden rush of hot, humid air back into the cabin right away though?
