I have a 2008 f150 without electronic hvac and the temperature blend door is not working . I replaced the actuator motor a few months ago and it worked a few weeks and quit. Replaced it again but still don’t work. You can get a/c to work but as soon as you turn to heat it won’t change back to a/c. I tried reset by pulling fuses but didn’t help. When I took actuator motor off, I noticed that the door turns easy by hand with fan off but you can’t turn the blend door by hand with fan on. Seems like the air is forcing it closed. Any ideas? Thanks

 

Are you using OEM parts? Sometimes the aftermarket pieces fail to endure.
