Yeah you wont be able to see jack if you tint out the headlights..I just did the foglights on me and my buddies trucks and they are useless but that was okay for us...We went for the daytime look. I have other lights if necessary that I use anyways. Also you can just go with 1 or 2 light coats so it all depends.

i have my head lights tinted. first time i did them WAYYYYY to dark. with 55 watt 10,000k HIDS could see maybe 30 foot in front of me. i quickly wet sanded the housings. they look like crap but are functional until i get projectors.
