I will start off with my ride-08 150 4x4 reg cab short bed 4.6, almost 100000 miles mostly highway. The time has come to replace the shocks and want to level at the same time, the regular cabs have the most extreme rake. I know the most economical choices are rancho or bilstein and the 5100's come highly recommended. I have searched a lot and aware of most of the opinions for and against, the only negative thing I have found is the firmness of the ride. Will the shocks have different results based on the wheelbase of the truck and if anyone else has a truck similar to mine offer some feed back. Also any recommendations on where to buy? Does anyone know of any discount codes? The cheapest I have found them is Top Gun Customs around $440 shipped. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
