Default bilstein questions

Hey guys, I've been looking into getting bilsteins for my truck. But recently I found out the 04-08 only have the stock and 2" lift setting on these shocks. I had a 2" autospring leveling kit on my truck before, and didn't like it. It lifted my truck more than what I wanted. I'm only looking for about 1" of lift.

So my question is, will bilsteins from 09-10 f150s fit? They have the 4 adjustments on them, instead of 2.

Or should I just get the bilsteins for my truck, leave them at stock height, and add the 1" Daystar leveling kit? (although I think that kind of defeats the purpose of the bilstein leveling shocks) Thanks for the help!

Thanks for posting this, I am in the exact same situation. I am wondering about going with the 4600 HD shock or the 5100 series. I too already have the 2" leveling kit on the front but I am unsure of which shock to get.

Hopefully we will see some good information from the people in here from their experiences.

Let's here it guys and gals!

Thanks

I just bought a set of 5100's and was told they had 3 settings. After receiving them they only have 0" and 2". Part number on the box is f4-be5-c293-t2. I am thinking about turning a third groove in them so I can set them up at 1".

Not sure. I think it depends on the vehicle that they were made for.
