I just installed my bilsteins this last week and I removed my 2" lift after much deliberation. I didn't know which way to go until I called Bilstein. They said that they would not honour warranty if you have a levelling kit. I am sure that it wouldn't be much of a problem but this shock is designed to provide lift so I may as well put them to the test.

Anyways, just what I have done.

I'm glad someone posted this. I have the 5100's and a Tuff Country lift and it is all fine. I have the 5100's set to 1 inch so it is a total of 3 inches. I had my ford dealership install it and they said that everything lines up great and there will be no additional wear. They said however that if I had the 2.5" spacer I couldn't do it. Just my .02

The last response to this thread was 7 years ago. The user may be no longer around. If you’re the guy who was asking if you can lift the front end 5 inches using an adjustable shock and a spacer, the answer is still no. You can’t actually do that. But if you want to waste your time trying, you can do that.

Go get an actual 4” or 6” full suspension lift if you need to go that high.
