And when u say straight through pipes do you mean like those skinny red cherry bombs? My friend has some on his 68 galaxy. They look like the silencers on my dirtbikes

Once you go with a supercharger, you will be hooked. My last car had one and even though it wasn't the most powerful one out there, it was awesome. Mash the pedal and hearing that whine and the power is awesome.

Yes i run those setting on my 4.6 lvl 3 though you can run those on lvl 2 just with less timing advance. Gears you can pick up for cheap from summit and have a shop install them

Like a magnaflow or a borla which are straight through design unlike the flowmaster which is chamberd
The cherry bomb is a straight through just not a fan of the sound

If I put bigger gears in won't I lose the torque I have already?

With a 3.55 rear gear ratio, for each full rotation of the rear tires, the driveshaft (input shaft for the diff.) has done a complete rotation 3.55 times. If you have higher gearing, like 4.11, you don't have to turn the driveshaft as much to get the tires to rotate the same amount of times. Higher rear gear ratios are best for towing and epic acceleration, but not so much for top speed. The opposite is true for low ratios, like 3.10. Those are best for a higher top end speed and better fuel mileage, but at the cost of acceleration and hauling/towing power. The chart and info on this site are very helpful http://www.4x4offroads.com/gear-ratio-chart.html
and herehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gear_ratio

What is your current ratio? Most of the trucks came with 3.55 or 3.73.
