Thank you Countryman.
Some people get wheels, then stop. I think thats just one part of the project, a big $$ part I know. I like to have an overall picture (In may head) of what I want the vehicle to look like when finished, then gather the parts and install them all at one time. That makes for "an instant visual inpact"!

I like them. I would even have a lowered truck but its not practical for me. I use my truck to tow my boat. Some ramps are steep and a lowered truck would have problems backing in and out. Plus I go camping in some places that require at least a stock height truck to make it.

Depends on what you like, and how you do things, i don't have and F-150 yet, i have a explorer, and i have a lot of chrome on my truck, but it look classy not flashy.

When i get my F-150 i'll put the 08 HD wheels, those look crazy, and i think they make the truck look really nice and stand out of the crowd.

i am painting the truck, flat black and thinking about putting some 22x9 kmc monsters on it. it has a 2 1/2 leveling kit to raise not lowered. wondering what that would look like. i think it would look sick

I found it very important to do suspension, some engine mods, and exhaust before putting on rims because bolting on some wheels is the easy part (Not $$ wise) but I found a Craigslist deal for some black with a chrome lip Boss 22's for super cheap so I went with it. Then when I saw every F-150 with the same stupid black/chrome rims I sold them and traded up for some nice all chrome 22's with a deep lip. Muchhhh better. I really want some 4.56's next to really make it a "Street Truck"

I like my truck, I did lower it 2 inches in the front 4 inches in the rear. I have 22" Boyd Coddington Flares. I did not go too nuts I can still use it as a truck. It was never an off roader being a 2wd V6. And I still have some side wall so the ride is not rough.
