I took my super 10 knock off back off my 4.6 and went with an aero turbine resonator in place of the muffler. 1000 times louder then the single chamber
If you already have that, start removing things 1 by 1. Ditch your resonators, if that's not good enough ditch one set of cats. If that's not good enough, ditch the other set and get some O2 deletes.
I'm hauling off my "dummy duals" that came on my 06 for a true dual exhaust system soon. Even with a muffler delete, it doesn't sound as good as the dual 40's off headers with no cats and an h-pipe that was the setup on my last truck.
i never found too much by watching youtube videos because its hard to really get the sound..so i first put a SIDO system with a flowaster 40 and 2 tips..but it only gave a good sound while really on the gas..so i swapped it out to a flowmaster 10 series with 3 inch pipe and a 5 inch tip..this set up is much louder. sets off car alarms every time. best view of the exhaust..
