I had a mechanic that I found on Craigslist do mine. He charged me $80 for the install. We did it in his backyard. It's not a complicated job to do, but you should definitely have some air tools and big pry bars and sockets for the job. Definitely follow the mfr's instructions. We tried to take some shortcuts on the first one and they didn't work out and we ended up losing some time because of it. The second one went in much quicker once we knew how to do it. It took us about an hour to do it.

my thinking is..may as well have it done at a shop
that is set up to do wheel alignments. Have the lift and alignment done at one time ? I may go ahead and get a 2" lift.

may be a dumb question, but did you have to get the front end aligned after the leveling kit? and have you noticed any mpg loss on the highway?

i got TUFF COUNTRY brand, yes installed it myself, you will need a strut spring compressor, i rented one from auto zone, it was kind of sketchy on my springs i think it was meant for smaller struts, but it got the job done.
