So about a year ago i got a viper car alarm put in my 05 f150. And ovisly i got a new key fob for it.since ive gotten it in when i lock the truck the lights blink but i miss the beep too. Is there a way to turn that on and off or is it just cause i changed the k fob? Just wondering if theres a way i can get the truck to beep when i lock it again thats all.

 

see if the alarm harness has a horn output, if not you can split the wire to your lights with 2 diodes to the horn and the lights, the diodes so your lights don't come when you hit the horn and your horn when you turn the lights on

 

I could but i was wondering iftheres an option to change it like the lights when u unlock the truck

 

Maybe consult your alarm's owners manual?
