Here’s all 3 bed sizes for a super cab. Maybe this will help others in the future know what they have

5.5’, 6.5’ and 8’.

That was true for your 2008, and for a 2009, and probably for a 2010 (my 2010 info is hiding). But for 2011-up, Ford has not produced a SuperCab shorty (5.5' bed) for sale in the USA. So if you have a 2011-up F-150 SuperCab with a pickup bed, you have either a 6.5' or 8' bed.

Well, this is the 04-08 section. So why would it matter if they stopped making them in the 12th generation?

This isn’t the general F150 section, it’s solely 2004-2008.

I saw a crew cab flare side 6.5’ over the summer. Struck me as odd because I didn’t think that combo was offered.

This thread began in the towing/hauling/plowing section of the "general F-150" area which I monitor. I subscribed to it while it was there, Then a moderator moved it to the 04-08 forum. I don't monitor this forum, but any new post to this thread will show up in my "subscriptions" index. So that's how I got here. You're right that most people that read about over-10-years-old F-150s may not care about later models. But I suspect that some do, especially if they ae thinking about trading up to a newer model but they want a SuperCab with a "High School Harry" 5.5' bed.
