Default Bed rail "caps"

I contacted my local Ford dealership to purchase the 4 plastic bed rail covers; these pop out in order for someone to install tie down hooks or chrome rails....

The parts person said they don't sell them; gotta buy the entire rail assemblies. Seems dumb to me.

So, anyone have a source (or the covers) that I can buy from?

take a walk around a parking lot, you should be able to find a bunch just sitting around

When I bought my truck it was missing one, the sales person just went to another truck and plucked one off so they should be close to the same size. you can try a auto salvage yard they shouldn't be much.

You can also go to a auto supply store and buy some with the retractable tie hooks, they don't look bad and have fictionally too.

I can get them from my local dealer for $7 apiece. They are available individually. Kinda pricey but mine were missing as well.

If you did come up with that part number, I'd be in debt to you. Apparently the parts guy at my local dealership is unaware; he did not even open the parts book to check. If it were not for the rest of the dealership being A++, I'd go elsewhere.

Thanks for letting me know they ARE available.
