How long have you had the Extang Solid fold? It looks like the seals would fall apart easlily and in a couple of years I would be having water sneak in.

I think I've had it two years. Seals are same as when it was new, no problems.
When I bought it one of the 2" seals at the fold was missing. Ex Tang sent me 3 feet of seal no charge; point being I think you would not have a problem if you needed to replace a seal.
I wouldn't guarantee that the Solid fold would be waterproof, but my bed stays dry.

I think I paid something close to $750 installed brand new when I got it. The best part is it only weighs 58lbs so if you need to remove it to utilize your whole bed you can remove it yourself. I have removed my all by myself on several occassions. I will say it's easier with a second person just because it's a big cover, but it can be done by one person when necessary.
I have the undercover also. Luckily it came with the truck when I bought it. Removing is as easy as taking out two rings and unhooking the two shocks.

Like stated, you can remover it on your own, but it is easier with a 2nd person. Its nice that it is the textured black so you don't have to worry about painting it.

it is also extremely sturdy. I wouldn't be surprised if you could stand on it.

When I need to haul something, I just lean it against the wall in the garage, then put it back on when done.

I would say it is one of the most simple but effective covers that I have seen.
