Have a 2006 F150, 5.4L, been haveing issues with the battery charging, I put a new battery in and it worked for a while. I think it is the alternator, but not quite sure. I dont have a lot of spare time to investgate the problem. has anyone else had a similar problem?

 

well if you have a volt meter you can do a quick check on the battery while it's running.... should read higher than 12.6V.... usually in the 14V range... not sure what it is for our trucks
