Default Battery problems

So my truck was running fine and I wake up one morning for class and my truck doesn't start. Nothing in the truck would light up nor would the cigarette lighters work. i get my volt tester out the door and read my battery at 2.25 volts. Never the less its picture day and i'm in my all white button up and it's been raining for 3 days straight, so I grab the jump pack and it cranks fine. Sitting at 14v while running so the alternator is working, right? I drive 30 minutes and kill it, get out of class about 4 hours later and its dead. I have no money so this goes on for a few days. Looking at my battery cable ends (terminals?) there very corroded. I use to clean them very often with this same battery so corrosion has been a problem. I was running a "1000" watt amp, (true 500 watt amp), for probably 2 years off of the battery and my KC lights. About 4 months ago my amp blew and my KC lights stopped working which I think the amp malfunction blew the fuse to. I also believe the malfunction blew one of my JL subs. I recently got a 4000 watt BOSS amp, (if i remember right, after my math was a true 952 watt amp), and got a different sub. I've had this set up for maybe a month and a half with no problems. So when I finally got the 10 dollars I needed (hate myself) I went ahead and replaced my battery cable ends. I switched all my cables got everything cleaned up and tightened down the negative and started tightening the positive. Being young and dumb I didn't pay attention to the fact I bought lead terminals. So after getting down on that one it cracked and split towards the front side of the terminal by the bolt that tightens it to the post. Regardless it was on there well and wouldn't move with me pulling on it, so I left it alone. Now up to this point I've had to use the jump pack everywhere I've went to start my truck. I get in and it cranks up fine, so great, it's fixed right. That was last weekend. I wake up for class morning and my truck is back to so dead that nothing will light up. Now my grandpa is the town mechanic, but I feel he only thinks I come by when I need help on my truck. I do a lot of the work to my truck on my own and am self taught, the only time I go to my grandpa is when it just dies while i'm driving through the middle of town.

I appreciate any thoughts on this, thanks guys.

sounds like its time for a new battery to me... I would get a good deep cycle for all that crap you are running. Corroded battery terminals means your battery is leaking or venting corrosive gases..

Default Sounds like an old bad battery

With all the load you are pulling and short trips being a student it doesn't stand a chance of getting a good charge. Running any of this without truck running is a battery killer .
You may have to do overnight charges with a good auto charger several times a week after you buy a really good battery . I hope you are a really good reader because with all that sound power your hearing is going to be gone .
Batteries only last 3-5 years summer heat kills them . Excessive drawdowns will shorten life quickly . Get a good warranty battery like walmart and they will change it out free. Put new leads on battery sounds like corrosion has ruined those ,don't go cheap .

x3 on the new battery. How old is the battery, as stated 3-5 years is probably somewhere around the average. I've had many batteries last 5-7 years. Walmart has a good warranty for batteries. The good ones are 3 years full replacement and the 2 years after that are prorated based on how long into that 2 years it is.
