Battery Light

I recently replaced my battery and after a few weeks i am getting the battery light on my dash... it is only coming on when the engine is turning below 2000 rpms... is this an alternator problem?

Check that terminals are clean and tight. Have alternator and battery tested - most shops do that for free. Could be a bad cell in the battery, even if it is new.
