I was reading through old posts and came across this mod. I've always thought it was dumb that the fog lights go out when you turn the brights on. I live up here in Deer country, the more light you can put on the sides of the road the better. Does anyone know why they are designed like this?

Anyway I'm interested in doing this mod. Are there any negatives to it? What is the best way to do it? What does it do to the factory warranty I have on my truck? Thanks in advance for your help!
