How are you planning to bag it? Are you wanting just bags that sit on top of your leafsprings to act as a helper spring or are you wanting the bags that completely replace your leaf springs along with some coilover replacement bags.

There are quite a few options out there. Not sure if there is a kit for the half tons to completely bag the rear end, but that is the route I would go.

Well if you want to be able to drop the rear you're going to have to find a kit thy completely gets rid of your leaf springs and links your rear suspension. The kits with bags on top of the leads will only raise you and keep you level with a load.

You dont want to replace the leafs with them, you prob just need to go with the helper ones that sit on top and once inflated they take some pressure off the leafs making for a better ride anyway plus you get some added capacity. We installed a set on a Chevy and it was fairly easy really, we bought the Firestone bags and the Firestone pump, first we mounted the bags via instructions in about 1 hr, then we ran our tubing to the front and mounted the pump under the hood to keep it out of the grim. Running the tubes up through the front took the longest but it was still less than 3hrs total, after that we ran a simple toggle switch to the inside and wired it to the battery and it was ready, very simple up down when you need it
