Default bad tire,or something else?

my 06 screw 4x4 has a 'shimmy' in the driver side rear most of the time not always. it only does it at 55-58 mph so i thought out of balance tire. took it to tire shop they said the rim was slightly bent and tire was slightly out of balance and with it being oversized tires(285/70 17,factory chrome wheel) the 2 combined for the shaking. so i bought some matching factory wheels from a coworker and they replaced the said bent wheel and balanced the tire, problem solved,no. it seems better but it still does it. could it be a shock or warped rotor? i have since rotated tires so now it has the tire and wheel that was on the front, still does it. it's acting like an out of balance tire but this isn't adding up. any ideas?

ha I posted something similar last week. Apparently most ford do this, its the drive shaft. Stock tires make the truck shake at about 50-55 mph so i guess with you havin oversized tires yours it shakin at 55-60.

My 05 scab bucked a few times like running over a cattle grate. It did it one time Saturday and hasn't did it again so far. I thought it might be the driveshaft or transmission.

You sure your ebrake isn't still engaged it happened to me the one time when my friend put my ebrake on and didnt tell me. I saw my ebrake light on but for some reason its always on so i thought nothing about it. About half way through my neighborhood i felt the shaking and realized it was on.

I have a habit of setting the ebrake every time I park, but I always release it before I drive.

Maybe you're having brake problems? Mine had a shimmy. Went to do the brakes, realized the rotor was warped. Caliper was sticking. Fixed problem. No shimmy.

how is the drive shaft causing this? what can be done? it only 'shimmys' on the driver side rear between @55-59mph and it's not jaw-rattling but i can see the left rear of the bed shaking in rearview mirror.

well my experience at a tire shop, its not a tire and wheel issue..... cause when u rotated it, it would be doing it on the front now..... but ur problem is still in the same spot.......it sounds like a shock to me.....but not a mechanic here..... i know tires though, hahaha

Has anyone resolved the shake in the left rear corner of the box? I've got a new drive shaft, new Mich. AT2's and new rear shocks and still this vibration persist.
