Default Backup sensor stuck at OFF

Hey Guys,

Bought a 2007 SCREW FX4 with 93km about a week ago and I love it !

The only thing i'm having a hard time with is the backup sensors. As soon as I turn on the truck the switch illuminates to OFF, when in reverse it stays at off even when pushing the button. Bottom line no matter what I do the switch says off.

Any ideas ?

I think there are 4 sensors. Just buy a new one and swap them out until it's fixed. Process of elimination. Maybe not the only way, but probably the easiest.

turn your key to the run position.. e-brake on !!! put it in reverse.. go listen to each sensor.. the good ones will make a clicking sound.. the bad one will not.. replace as needed
