Default Backlight my grill?

I have my '05 with the honey comb style grill and have been thinking about adding blue led back lighting to the grill that would come on with the running lights. Anyone ever seen this? Thoughts?

I know it varies from state to state, but I always heard it was only amber in the front, and red to the rear. Any other colors is considered a distraction, and can only be on when parked.

In tn the blue or red is only a issue of flashing/ strobing. But It may cause uneanted attention

Definitely stay away from blue any where, and/or strobing red or blue.

Long story; Years ago a tail light of my previous truck went out, for some reason I had some blue replacement bulbs lying around. Out of laziness and thinking it would be funny, I change both rear tails with the blue. Since The glass was red, the normal bulb was just white. That same night...just hours after the change, I was sitting in a parking lot with the truck running talking on the phone. A sheriff happened by, he pulled in behind me and kicked on his lights. I got a HUGE *** chewing and lecture about blue lights for emergency vehicles only. Asked for my badge, my EMT, or other class 3 officer license. Had to remove them by morning AND deliver those bulbs to the sheriff dept before his shift ended at 7am. No ticket, just the reaming and a warning.
