I had hyperwhite bulbs in my tails and they looked cooled the light output was crap, however these appear way brighter, but 63 bucks for reverse bulbs!

I have a factory tow package and it has the round light plug.
I went out and bought a night buster light and put it on. works good and the best thing is I can switch it to area light I turn on my head lights and it will light up behind my truck great for loading my trailer at night

On the side it is easy for someone to walk buy and take,

Yea I know 63 bucks is steep thats why I figured I would try to get you guys input first. I was thinking of getting the fire and ice lights, but then after reading all the topics and reviews on this forum I'm not sure I wanna go that route now

I just went to the local auto shop and bought regular fog lights. I just bought the cheap ones and mounted them under the truck. I hard wired them into the reverse lights and now they just come on when I put my truck in reverse. They work really well. I think it cost me about 30 bucks.

I was looking at doing something like that on my truck, how far back did you mount them? I found a few at pepboys I like but haven't decided on how to go about mounting them. If by any chance you could get a shot from underneath looking up at one of the lights I would be great full.

I set mine 6 inches away on each side I think from the hitch receiver.... I used small self tapping bolts and put two in each bracket and mounted it to the hitch frame itself. I wired them up the way I wanted, not the way the package stated... IE.... I ran a hot from the back of the truck into the cab, then from the cab to the battery. I grounded the switch on metal, as well as the lights... I only did that so my light on my switch would illuminate. I hid the wires extremely well as I did not want anyone to see them. I turn them on and off as I want. Sometimes they are nice to have on when working behind the truck, hooking up a trailer, etc.... I aimed them in a parking lot at night to hit where I wanted.... My reason for the lights was boredom, and tinted rear window.
