Default back up cam

Anyone tryed the "peak back up camera" wireless unit with a clip in mirror with a 3.5 inch monitor built into the mirror. Pretty cheap kit just wondering how ot works. Trying not to drop a ton pf cash bit like the idea of the monitor being built into the mirror. But looks quite cheap. Any inut would be great thanks!

I have this unit that my wife had got me for xmas last year from advanced auto. I must say that i was excited to put it in that i did it xmas night. the wireless transmitter is made to be inside out of the elements, so i installed it upside my driver side rear tail light and thought that it would be good, after getting it all hooked up the picture was ok nothing great but it would work i guess, then on the first adventure out i went to use it to back into a space and it looked like snow! i dealt with it for a couple months since it was a gift then i went out and got a wired cam and installed it to my 7 inch in dash and it is flawless and a crystal clear pic. You might have different luck but i must say that mine was not all that good!

I too used a wireless arrangement. After about two days of it working fair, it begain to get a worsening picture. I removed the two transmitters, threw them as far as I could into a lake, and direct wired the camera to screen/monitor. Works great now. I think I killed a carp with one of the tosses.
