Well, I go tmy truck back today from shop. I had a dropped valve. After mucho$$$$ heads redone, valve job, timing and components redone and new cats, new plugs and coils, it runs like a champ!!!!! Runs strong and smooth, so far only 5 miles driven. However, I still have that minor ticking noise from valve covers (5.4 3 valve, 2007). It has me a bit paranoid. I spent 3,800 bucks fixing it. I hope it works well, people tell me that I should trade it in before another engine disaster.

 

take it back and tell them to fix the tick....you spent $4K...should be perfect.
