Hey folks, i need some longer u-bolts to fit my 2004 lariat 4x4 rear axle now that I have an add a leaf in it. My question is are the bolts the same for the 8.8 vs 9.75. What do you guys recommend for bolts? I know the stockers come off with a 21mm socket and I measured them to be about 1/2" diameter with an overall length of 10inches. You just need some that are 3" wide. The ones you have listed should work perfect and leave a good amount of threads showing above the nut.. You can get even longer ones and just cut threads down after the install if you'd like...

 

ok, from what i'm seeing with the stockers i have almost full engagement on all corners, just 1 thread short in a couple places. Thanks for confirming this!
