Hey guys I am in need of some major help. I have a 2004 f150 fx4, long story short I broke the rear passenger axle and cannot find a replacement anywhere! As far as I can tell i have the 9.75 373 Numbers on tag from rearend cover are 3 V 953 F on top and L73 9 75 4D27 on bottom, I cant find the spline count, dia, or shaft length anywhere for sure. everywhere I find that seems to have what I need is only the 5 lug and not the 6 lug my truck has. if anyone could help me find where I could get one of these I would greatly appreciate it, im stranded at school til I get it fixed! Thanks in advance for any help.

 

you do have a 9.75 with 3:73 gears...you will use your rotors off your old axle...I'm pretty sure they are interchangeable ...not possitive...hopefully somebody will chime in and confirm..

 

Ya I'm pretty sure i know how to fix it, just can't find the axle shaft anywhere but through the dealership which is gonna run me over 400 bucks. I would think there has to be an aftermarket out there somewhere

 

Junk yard...find a wrecked f-150 with a good rear end in it...you could even find your year...
