Hey guys, just got a 2006 stx scab, love the truck, but want to be able to play my ipod over the stereo without using a fm transmitter, I see i can buy the 07 and up trays with the auxillary input for around 30 dollars on ebay, I was wondering how hard it would be to hardwire that into the existing aux switch on the truck.

I was going to try to switch my dads 08 tray into my truck, but since the wires ran into the main harness and the antenna cables were different i didnt. Also my radio didnt have a plug in for an aux system. Thats why I bought TripTunes for my truck. You should check your radio first and see if you can plug up the aux harness first.
