Default Aux fuse box mounting locations

Ok I have a blue sea systems 6 circuit fuse box and I need some ideas where to mount it.

I have looked around and there is not too many open spot that it will fit. Even under the hood there is no room. My only idea is to make a bracket to mount it or put it under the back seat by the jack.

I want it easily accessible and a nice central location to run all my wires to.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

You got a pic of the size and dimensions of the box?
What's the extra fuse box gonna be used for?

well I found one just in front of the air intake. Not an optimal location but it is under the hood at least.

It is for the driver and passenger heated seats, passenger power seat (driver had a plug), fog lights, HIDs, and my soon to be installed bed lights or backup lights. still debating.

it is the blue sea systems 6 circuit neg bus and 6 circuit positive bus. with a 100a mini anl inline fuse. I will post pics once the fuse holder comes in and it is all buttoned up.

I was just sick of 4 different individual fuses hanging off my battery it looked bad and was messy.

I bought the same fuse box I think for my 06 and was trying to figure out where to mount it. I want it under the hood just to make it easier running the main cable to it, (which I still havent decided how big a wire to run yet) most guys have told me to run a 1 or 2 guage with a 100 amp inline fuse, Ill be running my efans, backup lights, HID's, Piaa fogs, and my new projector retropfits I just had made. Not sure if I need a 100 amps for that. Was just going to run a 6 wire and maybe 60 amp fuse. But like you said nowhere easy under there. The only spot I found was in front of the washer fluid container, but its not an easy spot with the container in place. Like to see what kind of responses you get.

You could mount it to the battery cover... On the front side facing the engine.

I've been considering putting something here myself.. Maybe just bolting the fuse block right to the cover. (The pick set is just a visual aid that represents the fuse box)

Do they have some sort of fuse box that has relays in it?

I have my fuse box by my air intake tube. I just zip tied it through the screw holes in the fuse box and through pre drilled holes in the metal under it. I still need to clean up the wiring some though

The relays on mine aren't built in to the fuse box. I haven't seen one that is. It just makes it a lot cleaner because one wire runs from the battery to the fuse box and powers all the fuses.
