Default Automatic stalled???

So in the past two weeks my truck has stalled, it's a 4.6L 2005 automatic 4x4, the first time I was at a red light and when I let off the brake and got into the throttle it stalled, the second time I was pulling into a parking space and dropped it into reverse to straighten out and it stalled.... Any ideas???

taking a shot in the dark here but have you checked to see if any of the wires are bare and touching or something of that nature under the hood along with the fuses?

I would say check your throttle body if it's really dirty it could cause it to stall, also it wouldn't hurt to check your fpdm for rust and corrosion.

start with cleaning throttle body and MAF sensor. Check air filter, fuel filter etc. all that fun maintenance stuff!

I am sure there is and there may even be some youtube vids as well.

My only recommendation is to pull it from the truck and not clean it while it installed on the truck.

Use CRC (or equivalent) Throttle Body Cleaner only. With the MAF, just make sure to have the sensor power removed and use CRC (or equivalent) MAF Sensor Cleaner. Once it has dried, you can reinstall.
