When the switch is set to auto, the headlights will not turn on when they should in the dark one week, then the next week they will. Atleast that's the way it was. It has been nearly a month now that they have not worked. All other lights do come on, including interior console lights, just the headlights are the problem. They do work however if I turn the switch to the on position. Has anyone else had this problem or have any ideas what it might be? I have checked all fuses and relays and are all good.

 

Did you wipe off the sensor that reads the sun light? You have that, "You gonna eat your cheese paper?" someplace stuck on the dash, like it is covered over the light sensor?
