Automatic door locks
Hey guys,
I have a 2005 F150. Everytime I shut the driver's door the truck will lock all the doors. Is this a security feature or the door lock actuator failing?
Also sometimes when I'm driving the doors will keep trying to lock themselves. I'm thinking it's the actuator but if there's an automatic system I can disable then I would just go with that for now.

The owners manual walks you through step by step how to disable the locks. However I'm not so sure you don not have a short or something else wrong with it.
Do you have your owners manual? If so I think it should be around page 90 or 95. If you do not I can send you a PDF file of my 06 manual...
