My alt. From Advance was a lifetime warranty. Three years later and it died. Replaced under warranty no problem but the warranty went from lifetime to 90 days on the replacement. Something to keep in mind. Personally I think AZ, Advance, PepBoys, Orielys are all pretty much the same when it comes to quality.

Haha. Yes, I will gladly buy stuff from AutoZone that does have "DuraLast" or "AutoZone" written on the label!

I bought an alternator from Auto Zone, but we heading for 4 of July weekend with camper in tow when the alternator was shooting craps. They had one to fit my truck and of course I don't have any tools with me, so the guy offered to replace it for $30. It was $30 well worth paying on a hot July day.

I at least parked it in the shade for him.

I did buy the top dollar Duralast wiperblades. But when I took them out of the package, they said Bosh on them.... They were 3-4 dollars cheaper than the ones that were in Bosh packages.

Ford changed out my altenator from AZ with a "ford" because it was messing all kinds of electrical stuff up. All the codes were cleared after installation but when I went to leave ford my truck started acting up. It will idle but when I press the gas it wants to kill so I had it towed back. This was yesterday and I haven't got a call yet. Could it be the throttle body because I havnt had my truck in 3 weeks?
