Just bought my 2nd F150,2004, 5.4, black, 4 dr.,4x4, lifted...Has a rail mounted storage bin and a rear facing dvd player that will not let me put a disc in. Anyone have experience with this, familar problem? Can it be repaired. So far I can't get it off the rails to look at it.

Do you need help with taking it out? I've taken my head unit out several times. I don't have an aftermarket one yet though but I can give you some steps w/pics on how to dismantle your radio-dashboard + faceplate.

It's rail mounted overhead, and I got it down. It appears to be obsolete but I found two places that repair Audiovox. Will update later
