And the OP said he was a newbie...... The stock speakers on a amp will be a good start...... Later on after he's out grown the stock speakers a nice set of Hertz or other higher brand will be a great step up......... It's kinda like a sports car..... Sure the guy has some driving experince, so for him to start with 400hp will be a lot of fun right now. Later on he'll be ready for more hp.
