Default Audio Help

I have a 05 scab fx4 with the audio upgrade that consists of a small amp and sub under the rear bench. I am in the middle of installing a new head unit and ran into a small problem. There is a separate harness to control the factory subwoofer in the rear is there any way to convert that harness to the av plug style on the back of an alpine head unit without having to replace it all aftermarket? I am replacing all the door speakers as well so should I just remove the factory sub since it really doesn't do much anyway?
Thanks for the input

Well yes you can convert your stock amp/sub to work but why would you want to. If your doing speakers and a HU why not just buy a 75 dollar amp and 100 dollar sub and wire all your speakers to the amp as well and the sub to keep the power level up. It doesnt take real expensive stuff to sound awsome as Im sure you know. I got under 400 bucks in mine and though it doesnt have that thump that rattles your neighbors windows it has a sustained clarity nearly to max and just enough bump to shake the mirrors

Yea I know that I got the unit for free and it was 3 days old in my buddies truck he went a different route and bought a touch screen.... So right now I have 60 tied up in harness and dash kit and another 300 in door speakers so I wanted to just make what I got work for now if it was cheap..... I Want clarity now some ghetto thumper

I am just seriously confused on how to convert it because it is an 8 pin harness plug that goes to the back of the factory radio just for the sub and it look to have an electronically control signal from the factory radio if I read the diagram correctly
