Anyone know what these marks are?
trying to figure out if these are from the factory or if someone just drew these on for some reason. its on the frame just beneath the door. if they arent from the factory i wanna get them off

Just went and looked at my truck (2004 FX4) I do Not have any thing written on my frame, I don't even have that bar code sticker on mine that is shown in your picture. My frame doesn't have anything on it anywhere (both sides or on the inside)
My philosophy is: If it's not stamped on, bolted on, glued on, it probably isn't to important to have on.

It's most likely an inventory sticker off the parts line. The crayon markings are most likely from a worker during the assembly on the assembly line.
I used to have a 61 vette with these types of original markings. The "purists" would give thier unborn children for correct factory marks such as this during judging events. Things like overspray, crayon markings from the factory assembly line, correct decals, etc are often replicated by folks that do the "100 point" restorations.
Not a big deal to remove them; I doubt too much that anyone would be restoring your truck 30 years from now.
Then again, my dad would have said this on his first 56 chevy he owned.
