I'm looking to install a remote start in my truck and wanna know if there are any particular ones that people have installed before and like. Brand? Model? How hard was it to install??

 

My boss bought me one for addvertisement purposes. I love it. It took me about 4 hours to install it and haven't had any problems with it at all. Of course...this isn't my first and wont be my last install either. I like the new key fobs that came with the kit, and the standard antenna is pretty sleek too. I'd go with the Ford Genuine Accesory Kit. I love it!!!

I have viper and I love it. There are two ways to bypass the ignition chip. Do it the right way. Don't get the little box that holds your spare key in the steering column

 

how much do you think it'd be to 'have' it installed?

 

I got various quotes ranging from 200 to over 600 I paid 225 for the install that included the bypass module.
