Default Anyone here have FIRST hand experience between the two?

I'm looking for first hand experience only...no opinions or "i've heard". Please reply if you have ridden in or owned both sets to compare. I have owned MANY different mud tires but never these two.

Compare Nitto Trail Grappler to Toyo M/T for 1. Road noise 2. Better traction on road in deep/plowed snow or ice, wear and balance characteristics.

I beleive Nitto is a branch of Toyo so I wonder what the cheaped out on to make the tire so much cheaper than the Open Country M/T.

All of me and my friends that have Toyos love them! Not too bad on road noise because the notches in the tire aren't squared off like the Trail Grappler. I personally don't know about ice and snow because I live in Florida but they grab really good in mud and they are great in the rain (on road). Got a buddy with Trail Grapplers on his silverado.. He hates them he has had them less than a year an they're almost done... I hate them too because they sound terrible when driving down the road... They do grab good tho offroad, about as good as the Toyo.

Trail Grappler I would give a good 5 out of 10.

Toyo for me gets about an 8 out of 10.
